Multi-disciplinarily and genre-blending saxophonist CASSIE Kinoshi returns to the Hall with her biggest headline show to date alongside seed., turntabalist NikNak and London Contemporary Orchestra

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, this show celebrates Cassie Kinoshi as a composer and bandleader, showcasing her multifaceted and genre-blending work.

Presenting her new composition 'gratitude.' Kinoshi takes inspiration from the development of British Jazz, joining up her personal experience as a Black female composer and bandleader, making her mark on UK music.

Her new composition showcases how conflict shapes new social and artistic movements emerging around them; highlighting women's role in British music history.

Guest performer, London based literary & sound artist Belinda Zhawi will join Kinoshi onstage. Zhawi, who experiments with sound/text performance as MA.MOYO, is a collaborator with musicians in the South East London jazz & beat-making scene. Plus, artist GURIBOSH brings visual elements to the show.
